Claudia and Adrian,
My son Jacob was also treated at Children’s last year for a malignant rhabdoid tumor. I remember Ashley well from our visits and I will always see her darling, sweet face in my mind when I think of her. I was devastated to hear the news about Ashley’s passing. My thoughts are with you during this extremely difficult time.
Fondly,

I am so sorry for what you are going through. Reading Ashley’s story has brought back Donna’s last days — so sad, and so hard. You are a strong and brave family, and I know you will get through, but I hope that you may have some comfort in the sadness and some light in the darkness.

Dear Constantino Family-
I do not know you personally but have read about you all through Macy Ganz’s caringbridge page. I have never lost some one so close to me as you have. I have to say that in just reading through your amazing journal that I will never forget Ashley’s beautiful little face. You are an amazing family. I have a daughter around Macy’s age and am so thankful to have had a daughter as I’m positive you are too.
I wish you peace in the days ahead and a sense of happiness to have had Ashley in your life. My prayers are with you.
Take care,

I am so very sorry for your loss!!! I know that your hearts are broken!!
Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers today and you lay your precious Ashley to rest.
“Do not stand by me and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am in a thousand winds that blow,
I am the softly falling snow.
I am the gentle showers of rain,
I am the fields of ripening grain.
I am in the morning hush,
I am in the graceful rush
Of beautiful birds in circling flight,
I am the starshine of the night.
I am in the flowers that bloom,
I am in a quiet room.
I am in the birds that sing,
I am in each lovely thing.”
